Chevalier Alternative: Episode 12

The Eye of Voronzoff commands you to provide us all with more Chevalier now!

Tired of waiting for the next episode of Chevalier to be subbed? Desperate to see what’s going to happen next, but don’t have the Japanese skills to sample the raws? Perhaps you’re just so tired of watching anime that you’d rather just read about it on a blog anyway. Either way, I can’t really help you; for a show like Chevalier, my command of Japanese is definitely nowhere near enough to enable me to grasp what’s going on. What I can do, however, is give the series the .hack//Roots treatment- by using raw screencaps sent to me from undisclosed sources, I can construct my own story.

If you like my usual style of Chevalier parody, however, don’t worry- I’ll be doing those just as soon as I have the necessary resources.

Last time on Chevalier- d’Eon and Voronzoff crossed ‘swords’ in a neverending duel of HARD GAY.

chevalieralt-3
d’Eon took note when his gaydar suddenly lit up.

chevalieralt-4
Like any boss enemy, Voronzoff has multiple transformations.

chevalieralt-5
Voronzoff is shocked at d’Eon’s bold and forthright HARD GAY.

chevalieralt-6
…so shocked, in fact, that initially he outright rejects d’Eon.

chevalieralt-7
“Don’t come any closer or I’ll make my eyes bleed! I mean it!”

chevalieralt-8
Like most men, d’Eon sometimes has problems keeping his ‘sword’ under control.

chevalieralt-9
Voronzoff is overtaken by the most intense HARD GAY he has ever known.

chevalieralt-10
“My HP is getting low- engage Lia Mode!”

chevalieralt-12 chevalieralt-11
Durand is shocked to run into former love interest Robespierre.

chevalieralt-13
Robespierre reveals that he has used a book of secret HARD GAY techniques to improve his skills beyond those of any other man.

chevalieralt-14
Having tantalised Durand with this information, Robespierre declines to participate in any HARD GAY until a later date.

chevalieralt-15
Grey isn’t a good colour for Voronzoff.

chevalieralt-16
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

chevalieralt-17
“Voronzoff, you’ve lived for far too long- everyone’s getting sick of you.”

chevalieralt-18 chevalieralt-19

chevalieralt-20 chevalieralt-21
Voronzoff indulges in a brief flashback mode before his death. This will later be expanded upon in spin-off series “The Adventures of Voronzoff”.

chevalieralt-22
The intensity of the HARD GAY proves too much for Voronzoff.

chevalieralt-23

chevalieralt-24
“Oh no, I’ve killed my HARD GAY partner again.”

chevalieralt-25
“Help, my hair is taking over!”

chevalieralt-26
“You know you want me; everyone does.”

chevalieralt-27
Durand arrives to comfort d’Eon at the loss of his HARD GAY partner.

chevalieralt-28
Peter tries to declare a new era of HARD GAY just moments before being foiled.

chevalieralt-29
“Damn you!”

chevalieralt-30
“I’ll be back next week!”

chevalieralt-31

chevalieralt-32
“I think not- HARD YURI shall prevail.”
chevalieralt-33 chevalieralt-34

chevalieralt-35chevalieralt-36
Peter is forced to take part in a fatal bondage game.

chevalieralt-37 chevalieralt-38
Marie reveals her secret weapon- the Lord’s Head from Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto.

chevalieralt-39
Pompadour challenges the Queen for more screen time.

chevalieralt-40
Anna will just take whatever screen time she can get.

  1. DMJewelle says:

Anna’s most screen time is in the OP, really – that’s what happens when you’re not an actual historical figure in this series.

  2. Karura says:

Well, some of the leads aren’t actual historical figures, but they are HARD GAY, which probably makes a difference.

  3. Impz says:

weeeee. is this chevalier? I never did have the chance to watch it, but it does not seem to have that bad graphics, contrary to what Lupus told me -_-

Still, hilarious as usual and congratulations on getting into 9rules desuyo~

  4. Karura says:

    Congratulations to you too 🙂

There are a few episodes where the animation goes downhill, but overall I think the series is well worth watching anyway.
