Orphe and Ed go to visit Bernard.
Bernard: Ah, Strahl Candidates, what can I do for you?
Orphe: What’s going on here? Where is Headmaster Barty?
Bernard: Barty is gone, and with him all the gay tendencies of the school must be thrown out. Kuchen must no longer be a bishocracy- if you don’t start sleeping with women, our population will decline!
Ed: Ridiculous! You can’t sleep with a woman!
Cut to the dining hall. Ludwig is eating with his groupies; Orphe, Ed and new characters are there.
Nicholas: I don’t see what all the fuss is about, really. This is the path real men should take anyway.
Ludwig-groupie: Take that back! Ludwig-sama is more of a man than you’ll ever be! Isn’t that right?
Ludwig: This conversation is beneath me.
Orphe: These are troubling times indeed, Ed.
Ed: Don’t worry about it, Orphe, they can’t stop me being here for you.
Cut to outside dining hall. Elmunt encounters a weak Camus.
Elmunt: Hey, are you okay?
Camus: Just a little weak…
Cut to Isaac, who is now working with Beruze!
Isaac: When I answered that ad in the personals, I didn’t know you were the one who had posted it!
Beruze: Yes, Isaac, for I need male companionship too.
Isaac: I…I guess I have no choice but to become your lover until something better comes along.
