More editing for Shigofumi
Shigofumi fans will recall that a few weeks ago, episode three suffered from rather abrupt editing “in light of recent events in Japan”; now, episode eight is also to be edited for the same reasons.

Shounen Onmyouji parody episode 21

Masahiro is wandering around alone in the underworld.

Masahiro: Where is everybody!? I’m only Level Seven- I can’t be expected to fight alone!

Masahiro uses a locator spell to find Genbu, Rikugou and Taiin. Over in the distance they see Nagako.

Taiin: She’s the one who created the curse- we should defeat her and see what happens.

Masahiro: Like I’m going to get any EXP from fighting a little girl- it’s best if I talk to her instead.

Masahiro approaches Nagako.

Nagako: Go away! No one loves me! I’m in despair! Continue reading →

Ever since it was discovered, there had always been strange phenomena and mysterious experiments going on at Heaven’s Gate, but on the day that would come to be known as Twin X, they began to affect the entire world. Thanks to the terrorist act of scientist Terumichi Madoka, the world became encased within the ‘Sheltering Sky’, a reflective mirror of particles that spelt change for everyone living on the planet beneath. Now, fifteen years later, Madoka’s two children are on the run from their father’s reputation and their mother’s debts, only to get drawn into an ongoing conflict between powerful forces wielding supernatural abilities- a conflict that could decide the very future of humanity.

Shounen Onmyouji parody episode 20

Seimei wanders around in a washed-out world, where he meets old friends Ryuusai and Wakana.

Seimei: All right, my spin-off series begins here! Wait, these people are dead- it’s just a crappy dream sequence!

They disappear, and he wakes up.

(Seimei: I really thought I was on my way to being a main character that time.)

The next day, Masahiro and Mokkun check on Akiko’s sister Shouko.

Mokkun: Both of them are suffering from the Curse status effect, although as Akiko is a more prominent character she’s in worse condition.

Masahiro: I’m sick to death of that status effect! Why are the writers so lazy? Continue reading →

Koutetsu Sangokushi parody episode 25 [end]

Zhuge Liang waits for Lu Xun.

Zhuge Liang: Come, Lu Xun, show me that there is at least one man in this land worthy of being my partner. In the meantime, I shall randomly burn everything, just as any good final boss should do!

Whilst the other Pleasure Rangers fight off the burning meteors that are falling on China, Lu Xun (who is back to being Ranger Red) heads for Zhuge Liang.

Sun Quan: I’m about as useful in battle as that guy in Captain Planet who had the Heart power, so I’ll just stay here and pray for everyone.

Zhuge Liang: This world is corrupt, and must be destroyed! Continue reading →

Valentine’s Day Special

chibi-karura-blog.pngAh, Valentine’s Day- that period when smug couples exchange material goods whilst depressed singles either jealously dream of the day when someone will give them red roses or pretend not to notice and care. As perhaps one of the cruellest celebrations after Christmas (that time when a jolly old fatso breaks into children’s bedrooms), Valentine’s Day could surely not help but appeal to the sadistic minds at Azure Flame; so whilst Karura nips out to steal chocolates from oblivious lovers, those of you with nothing better to do can stay in and read about anime’s contribution to the world of romance.
